Barcelona, Spain – Trainers get ready – the Pokémon GO Safari Zone is coming to Barcelona on October 13th and 14th! This exciting in-game event will allow players to catch rare Pokémon from around the world right in the heart of the city.
Event Dates and Times
The Pokémon GO Safari Zone will take place in Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona. The event times are:
- Friday, October 13th: 10am to 6pm
- Saturday, October 14th: 10am to 6pm
During event hours, Parc del Fòrum will be transformed into a Pokémon paradise with activations and surprises for attendees.

Tickets to the Pokémon GO Safari Zone in Barcelona are available now on the official event page. They are €12 for a single-day pass or €20 for the entire event.
Due to expected high demand, trainers are encouraged to secure tickets early before they sell out. Tickets will grant access to Parc del Fòrum during event hours. They will be delivered to your account closer to the event start date.
Rare Spawns and Shiny Hunting
The Pokémon GO Safari Zone events are known for featuring rare Pokémon from around the world. Players can expect to encounter Pokémon not normally seen in Europe like Tropius, Unown, Chatot, Torkoal and more.

In addition to rare spawns, Niantic typically offers an exclusive Special Research story for Safari Zone ticket holders. These research lines offer rewards like encounters with Legendary Pokémon.
While details on the Barcelona Special Research are still unknown, trainers can likely expect some highly coveted encounters and items as rewards.
The special research will focus on helping Professor Willow and Eevee explore Barcelona. Players can expect:
